what does sunnets mean?

Sunnets was one of my Tumblr URLs. Back then, the best usernames were only one word, but since most of the good, real words were taken, you had to get creative. Sunnets is a portmanteau of my last name (Sun) and “sonnet”, because I was into writing poetry at the time.

you’re a student? what do you study?

My undergraduate degree (Health Studies) combines the natural and social sciences to look at health from an interdisciplinary perspective. I’m also a research assistant in labs broadly studying cognitive neuroscience: one is focused on visual perception, and the other is studying attention and cognition in people who get migraine headaches.

how do you make your stickers?

I design them in Procreate and Photoshop and cut them using a Silhouette Cameo 3, using sticker paper from onlinelabels.com.

how are your prints made?

I either make the art on Procreate or digitize a traditional piece, then use a Canon Pixma Pro-100 to print them on a high quality presentation paper (165 gsm). Premium giclee prints are printed on a luxurious, high quality, fibre-based fine art paper (325 gsm).
