Health Studies Student Society

The Health Studies Student Society aims to foster a sense of community among students in the Health Studies program and those with similar interests by facilitating events, encouraging networking opportunities and creating a positive student experience.

Since the club was brand new when I joined as president in 2017, I had a fresh palette in terms of identity design. I wanted to reflect the newness of the program, as well as its modern interdisciplinary approach to health with a clean, contemporary, and versatile design. Drawing inspiration from Bronfenbrenner’s ecological model of human development, the inner rings of the logo represent the program’s three streams: biology and development; individual and society; and culture and environment.
